Aero
Mark’s Hartzell Top Prop 80” propeller is now available as a
factory installed option on your new 2006 Husky A-1B 180 (exchange Hartzell
76” with digital tachometer), or you can order it direct from Aero Mark
for any model of the Husky (A-1, A-1A, A-1B) with the 180 horsepower Lycoming
engine! This propeller offers
increased performance for takeoff and climb rates, faster cruise speeds,
reduced engine and propeller vibration, and most importantly - - - “GET THE RED OUT!” by
removing the restricted RPM range placard on your Husky. Now, you will be able to stay in that
sweet spot of your RPM settings when necessary without worrying about engine
damage caused by engine/propeller harmonics.
The
performance of the Husky equipped with the Hartzell Top Prop 80”
propeller is proving to be all or more than we had originally
anticipated. Actual flight comparisons
are showing significant increases in performance for acceleration, climb, and
cruise speed over the Husky’s original and other propeller options.

- The VFR Package 1
(Basic)
configuration is comprised of an A-1B airframe equipped with Aero
Mark’s standard options, VSI, TC, custom-built radio box, COMM
radio, transponder/encoder, intercom, and COMM
antenna.
- The VFR Package 2
(Middle) configuration
is comprised of an A-1B airframe equipped with Aero Mark’s
standard options, vacuum system, custom radio box with map box, gyro
panel (IVSI, AI, DG, TC, suction gauge), Garmin GNC250XL (VFR) COMM/GPS,
Garmin GTX327 digital transponder/encoder, intercom, COMM antenna, and
light wedges for instrument illumination at night.
- The VFR Package 3
(Upper)
configuration is comprised of an A-1B airframe equipped with Aero
Mark’s standard options, vacuum system, custom radio box with map
box, gyro panel (IVSI, AI, DG, TC, suction gauge), Garmin GNS430 (VFR)
COMM/NAV/ILS/GPS, Garmin GI106A NAV/ILS indicator, Garmin GTX327 digital
transponder/encoder, intercom, NAV antenna, COMM antenna, digital clock,
Nav coupler, and light wedges for instrument illumination at night.
- The IFR Package 1 configuration is comprised
of an A-1B airframe equipped with Aero Mark’s standard options,
vacuum system, custom radio box with map box, gyro panel (IVSI, AI, DG,
TC, suction gauge), Garmin GNS430 (IFR) COMM/NAV/ILS/GPS, Garmin GI106A
NAV/ILS indicator, Garmin GTX327 digital transponder/encoder, King KR-22
Marker Beacon, intercom, NAV antenna, COMM antenna, Marker antenna, Nav
coupler, digital clock, light wedges for instrument illumination at
night, and Flight Manual with IFR Certification.
- The Signature Package
1
configuration is comprised of an A-1B airframe equipped with Aero
Mark’s standard options, custom laser cut panel designed for ease
of scan, heat treated with powder coating and silk screening for
durability, IFR certified Garmin GNS430/GI-106A, Garmin GTX327
transponder with encoding, PM1000 II Intercom, LC-2 clock, full gyro
panel, custom radio box, VM1000 engine monitoring system, and light
wedges.
- The VFR Baumann
Seaplane Package 1 configuration is comprised of an A-1B airframe equipped with
Aero Mark’s standard options, VSI, TC, custom-built radio box,
COMM radio, transponder/encoder, intercom, and COMM antenna. In addition, it has a set of
Baumann BF-2100 Seaplane Floats installed.
- The VFR Baumann
Amphib Package 1 configuration is comprised of an A-1B airframe equipped with
Aero Mark’s standard options, VSI, TC, custom-built radio box,
COMM radio, transponder/encoder, intercom, and COMM antenna. In addition, it has a set of Baumann
BF-2150A Amphibious Floats installed.
- The VFR Wipline Seaplane Package 1 configuration is comprised
of an A-1B airframe equipped with Aero Mark’s standard options,
VSI, TC, custom-built radio box, COMM radio, transponder/encoder,
intercom, and COMM antenna.
In addition, it has a set of Wipaire 2100 Seaplane Floats and a
Ventral Fin installed.
- The VFR Wipline Amphib Package 1 configuration is comprised
of an A-1B airframe equipped with Aero Mark’s standard options,
VSI, TC, custom-built radio box, COMM radio, transponder/encoder,
intercom, and COMM antenna.
