This bike, one of the approx. 50 factory racers made, became available in Belgium for $14,000.00 US. I was going to see it when I was in Paris over the Xmas/New Years holidays of '00 and maybe buy it and turn it but the bike got sold before I had the chance. My heart was not broken since buying a bike as an investment seems strange to me plus I need to keep up my track record of losing money on all my investments.
